Your journey begins with your arrival in the beautiful city of Srinagar, known as the 'Paradise on Earth.' Upon reaching, you'll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel or houseboat. The day is free for leisure — you can enjoy a peaceful shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake, explore Mughal gardens like Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, or simply relax in the calm surroundings. This relaxing start gives you time to adjust before heading into the higher altitudes of Ladakh.

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Sonamarg, a beautiful valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Known as the “Meadow of Gold,” Sonamarg offers mesmerizing views, green meadows, and the roaring Sindh River. You can enjoy a walk along the riverbank or opt for pony rides to the Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost). The peaceful landscape makes it a perfect spot to spend the night amidst nature.

Today’s journey takes you through the thrilling and narrow Zoji La Pass — a gateway into the stark beauty of Ladakh. En route, you’ll pass through Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world, and visit the Kargil War Memorial, which pays tribute to the soldiers of the 1999 Kargil conflict. The drive offers a dramatic change in landscape as you move from green valleys to rugged mountains. Arrive in Kargil by evening and relax at your hotel.

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Leh. En route, you’ll cross high-altitude passes like Namika La and Fotu La. You’ll visit the ancient Lamayuru Monastery, often called the "Moonland of Ladakh" due to its unique landscape. Other highlights include the Magnetic Hill and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. You’ll reach Leh by evening — rest is important at this altitude to allow your body to acclimatize properly.

This day is reserved for exploring Leh town and nearby landmarks while giving your body time to adjust to the altitude. Visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace (offering panoramic views), and the Hall of Fame — a museum built by the Indian Army. Stroll through the colorful Leh market where you can shop for traditional Ladakhi handicrafts. The evening is perfect for sipping tea at a local café and soaking in the local culture.

Gear up for an adventurous drive over Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. The views from the top are stunning and unforgettable. As you descend into Nubra Valley, the scenery changes to barren mountains and sand dunes. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels in the Hunder region. The night in Nubra is peaceful and romantic — ideal for honeymooners or nature lovers.

After breakfast, drive towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake via the Shyok route, known for its scenic beauty and fewer crowds. Upon arrival, you’ll witness the magical lake that changes colors from blue to green to turquoise throughout the day. It’s one of the most beautiful lakes in India and a favorite for couples and photographers alike. Spend the night in a lakeside camp, under the stars, in the silence of the Himalayas.

After enjoying a peaceful morning by the lake and watching the sunrise over the water, begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass. The route offers panoramic views and photo opportunities. Once you reach Leh, you'll be dropped off at the airport or your preferred location.
