Your spiritual journey begins as you depart from Delhi in the evening via your chosen mode of transport—train, AC Volvo bus, or a private cab. Overnight travel is arranged to ensure optimal use of time and a fresh start to the pilgrimage upon arrival. The journey takes approximately 10–12 hours, passing through scenic landscapes of northern India. Whether you're traveling solo, with family, or in a group, this initial leg is designed for comfort and ease, with all bookings and coordination handled in advance.

You’ll reach Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi Yatra, in the morning. After checking into a comfortable hotel, the day is kept free for relaxation and preparation. You may visit the local market to buy essentials for the yatra such as walking sticks, prasad, raincoats (in season), or woolens. Optional activities include registering for the yatra, getting your yatra slip, and planning the darshan mode (on foot, helicopter, pony, or palki). This buffer day is crucial for acclimatization and ensures you're well-rested before the climb.

This is the most spiritually significant day of your journey. Early in the morning, after a light breakfast, begin your 13 km trek to the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi. Pilgrims can also opt for a helicopter ride to Sanjichhat or hire ponies, palkis, or battery cars depending on personal comfort and fitness. Along the way, enjoy scenic views, spiritual chants, and a collective aura of devotion. Once you reach the Bhawan, have darshan of the sacred pindis and offer prayers. If time and energy permit, continue 1.5 km further to Bhairon Baba Temple, which is traditionally visited after the main darshan. Return to Katra by late evening or night and rest at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Jammu, around 50 km away. Jammu, known as the ‘City of Temples,’ offers a mix of spiritual and cultural attractions. The day includes sightseeing at major temples like Raghunath Temple, Ranbireshwar Temple, and Bahu Fort, as well as scenic spots like Bagh-e-Bahu Garden. Time permitting, you can also explore Mubarak Mandi Palace. Later in the evening, proceed to Jammu Railway Station or Bus Stand to board your return journey to Delhi. Overnight travel back home begins with spiritual satisfaction in your heart.

You arrive back in Delhi in the morning, completing your spiritual journey. With blessings from Mata Vaishno Devi and wonderful memories of the hills, darshan, and the warm hospitality, you return rejuvenated and peaceful. The tour concludes, but the divine energy and experiences gained stay with you for a lifetime.
