Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Dehradun to Sankri, passing through Mussoorie, pine-covered hills, and the beautiful Yamuna and Tons valleys. As the altitude increases, the landscape shifts dramatically. By evening, you reach Sankri, a peaceful Himalayan village that serves as the base camp for the trek.

After a short drive to Taluka, the real trek begins. You’ll walk alongside the Supin River, crossing wooden bridges and forest trails. The route is full of chirping birds, tall pines, and charming streams. After a moderately long day, you arrive at Seema, your riverside campsite near the remote Osla village.

This day takes you deeper into the mountains. As you ascend gradually, the landscape opens up into breathtaking alpine meadows with views of snow-capped peaks like Swargarohini. You finally reach the pristine Har Ki Dun valley — a wide-open cradle between mighty mountains, rich in mythological and natural beauty.

This day is reserved for exploration. You can take a short hike to either Jaundhar Glacier or Maninda Tal for closer views of glaciers and high-altitude beauty. It’s a relaxed day meant to absorb the silence and grandeur of the Himalayan surroundings while resting before the return journey.

You retrace your steps back to Seema. Though the route is the same, the perspective is different as you descend. The downhill walk offers easier movement and allows you to soak in the serene views of valleys, rivers, and quiet forest trails.

Your final day of trekking brings you back to Taluka through familiar terrain, followed by a drive to Sankri. The return feels nostalgic as you complete your adventure and reflect on the natural wonders you’ve experienced over the past few days.

After breakfast, you begin your journey back to Dehradun. As the mountains fade into the distance, you carry with you unforgettable memories of lush forests, remote villages, river valleys, and the majestic Har Ki Dun – the Valley of Gods.
